The yatra was held at the base of the Wearealtay eco-camp, which is located on the picturesque bank of the Kucherla River, into which flows a powerful stream from the glacier at the top of the mountain. The name of the river translates as "something needed by all living beings and Man". It is a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city, from stress and disturbing news.
The guests of JIO Yatra were accommodated in luxurious dwellings, the form of which was not chosen by chance. It is a model of the ancient Altai dwelling - chodir aikla, and its conical construction is due to its sacred meaning: it connects the earth and the sky.
